    - Enrolment form
    - Evaluation form
    - Portfolio
Once all of the above has been submitted, you would be invited to come in for an interview after which you will be notified as to whether Concept has accepted your application.
  4. Does Concept Interactive offer one-on-one tuition? Yes. These are referred to as our Customised courses which are tailored to suit the needs of the individual or company.
  5. Does Concept Interactive offer Saturday classes? No. However we do offer evening classes from Monday - Thursday, 17h30 - 20h30.
  6. Once I complete a 5 month course, will I be able to find employment? Yes. With the adequate knowledge gained from the course and a substantial portfolio created upon completion, you will be able to market yourself for an entry level (Junior) position.
  7. What is the difference between the part-time courses and the 5-month courses? The part-time courses are predominantly designed for those already in the industry and due to time constraints of these short courses, it is not possible to do project work. However as the 5-month courses are designed for those choosing a new career path or wanting to gain an awareness of the creative industries, there is the inclusion of sufficient project work to contribute to a final portfolio which assists the student to market themselves in the industry.
  8. Does Concept Interactive do job placements? No. However, as Concept has a good reputation in the industry, we regularly have requests from various agencies or companies to employ our students and we, in turn, refer these on to both our past and present students.
  9. Is the market not already saturated with web designers? Because of the abundance of so-called web designers in the market, the industry now realizes that their recruitment process has to demand a high standard of industry-related web skills along with an impressive portfolio. Therefore, to ensure that Concept continues to deliver the quality of training required by the industry, we provide our students with a high standard of software skills as well as introducing some necessary coding/programming and some soft skills (communication, presentation, marketing, business practice) to make them more marketable.
  10. Is the Diploma qualification internationally recognized? As Concept's 3-year Diploma course is registered with SAQA at NQF Level 6, this qualification is automatically recognized overseas. Concept is also an Adobe Accredited Training Partner, the recognition of which is only awarded if the lecturers gain the status of Adobe Certified Instructors/Experts by taking the necessary international exams.
  11. How can I get exposure to the industry whilst I am still studying? Since Concept enjoys an excellent reputation for a high quality of training, there are regular enquiries from the industry not only offering our graduates full-time employment but also our present students employment on a part-time basis whilst they are still studying. When we receive these enquiries, we refer them directly on to the students who have the required strengths and skills and we encourage them to gain industry experience whilst still studying.
  12. Does creating a website involve coding/programming, or can I simply use 'Photoshop-like' software to handle all of the code involved? It is essential to learn how to code websites with no assistance from visual tools like those of Dreamweaver, or Photoshop -- just ask any web design agency what they are looking for in new recruits. HTML and CSS are the languages you will learn for creating websites. They are actually easier than most people initially imagine.
  13. Do corporate classes have homework? No, we don't give homework but you are more than welcome to redo any exercises that you have done in class and/or as practice at home.
  14. Do corporate classes or one-on-one customized classes have time to do projects? Unfortunately, owing to the time constraints of short courses, projects cannot be included. However, in these courses we do encourage individuals to bring in examples of work or work-in-progress that can be used for certain exercises and thus make the course more time- and cost-effective.
